I spent an hour and $40 at Simply Mac with a tech, 45 minutes on hold with Apple Care and 30 minutes working with a tech to resolve thousands of duplicate photos and why the were happening.

The tech helped a little with settings and then advised a third party app to erase the duplicates. I found this one for $.99 and it solved all of the issues in less than a minute!!!! GET THIS!
